House Rules
Reservation and Confirmation:
Reservations are 2 night minimum.
The reservation is confirmed only after receipt of full payment or the specified deposit. Reservation details will be emailed once payment is received.
Modification of Reservations:
Reservation changes are subject to availability and may be subject to additional charges.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be notified in writing.
- 8 days or more before arrival, no fees will be collected.
- Cancellation fees may apply depending on the time prior to the arrival date (7 days or less before arrival).
- Less than 24 hours before arrival or if the client does not show up, 100% of the amount of the stay will be required.
- If the room becomes available after your cancellation, no fees will be charged and the security deposit amount will be refunded in full.
Force Majeure:
Gîte Chez Maleterre cannot be held responsible for cancellations or modifications resulting from circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of terrorism, etc.
Payment :
Full payment must be made before arrival unless otherwise stated in the booking conditions. Payments can be made by credit card or bank transfer.
Arrivals and departures:
- We will be happy to welcome you between 3 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
- We will be sorry to see you leave but we will have to, between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. Please leave on time, I have to prepare the rooms for the new guests.
- If for one reason or another you need to change your arrival or departure time, please notify us as soon as possible.
- If you leave before the end of your stay, there will be no refund.

- For security reasons, cooking is strictly prohibited to guests at all times. Breakfast service is in the dining room.
- Key handover instructions. Please remember to leave the room key on the door when you check out.
- Please note that we cannot accept children under 12 years old. Our cottage is not equipped for their safety.
- Our house and the entire property are strictly non-smoking, thank you in advance for your respect. No tolerance will be allowed for the risk of being evicted without notice and without any refund being returned to you.
- Even under camera surveillance, with regard to the parking of vehicles, the lodge disclaims all responsibility in the event of damage or theft inside the cars.
By booking at Gîte Chez Maleterre, you accept the aforementioned conditions. These conditions may be subject to adjustment, please check them at the time of booking.
